Bionic eyes like Terminator will soon be coming as a reality. Contact lenses, currently in prototype, have microscopic circuits as well as red LED fixed to a flexible plastic. Researchers at University of Washington built the circuits in nanometer scale to ensure compatibility with organic human eyes.
